What EWR Airport Car Service Actually Means
Airport car service is not a taxi and it is not a rideshare app. It is a pre-arranged reservation: a specific vehicle class, assigned to you in advance, at a price agreed before you travel, driven by a chauffeur who knows your flight number and your destination before the day arrives.
If you are working out when to leave home for a departure, our Newark Airport departure time calculator works backwards from your flight through traffic, your terminal, security and check-in.
That difference matters most at Newark. EWR spreads across three terminals with separate arrivals levels and separate ground transportation areas, the approach roads back up predictably at certain hours, and the route into New York City runs through tolled crossings that add both time and cost. None of that is a problem when someone has planned for it. All of it is a problem when you are standing at the curb trying to sort it out with luggage.
We handle arrivals and departures at EWR every day, in sedans, full-size SUVs and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans. The service is available 24 hours a day, including red-eye landings, pre-dawn departures and holidays.
Included With Every Airport Transfer
Flight tracking
We monitor your flight from departure and adjust the pickup time for early arrivals and delays. You do not need to contact us to reschedule.
A flat rate agreed in advance
Your route and vehicle class are quoted before the booking is confirmed. There is no meter and no surge pricing.
A complimentary wait period
Your chauffeur waits at no additional charge for a set grace period after your flight lands, giving you time to clear the terminal.
A vetted professional chauffeur
Our chauffeurs are background-checked and drug-tested, and drive the EWR corridor routinely.
Direct contact on the day
You are given a way to reach your chauffeur and our dispatch line, which is answered around the clock.
Vehicle matched to your luggage
We confirm passenger and bag counts when you book so the vehicle that arrives actually fits what you are carrying.
Arriving at Newark — How Your Pickup Works
When you land at EWR, you have two options, and you choose which one you want at the time of booking. Curbside pickup is standard; meet-and-greet is $30 plus parking.
Curbside pickup
Your chauffeur waits in the vehicle and meets you at your terminal's ground transportation area once you have collected your bags and let us know you are ready. This is the quicker option for travelers with carry-on only, and for anyone who knows the terminal well.
Meet-and-greet
Your chauffeur parks, comes inside and meets you near baggage claim holding a name sign, then helps with your luggage to the vehicle. This is the option we recommend for international arrivals, first-time visitors, families with young children, and anyone travelling with more bags than hands. Meet-and-greet is $30 plus parking. For domestic arrivals your chauffeur meets you at baggage claim; for international arrivals, outside customs; for private aviation, inside the FBO lounge where clearance allows.
Terminals A, B and C each handle arriving passengers differently, and the layout at Terminal A changed when the new building opened. Our terminal guide walks through each one so you know where you are going before you land.

Departing From Newark — Getting You There in Time
For departures we build the schedule backwards from your flight. Tell us the airline, terminal and departure time, and we will recommend a pickup time that accounts for the route, the hour of day and the check-in and security time the airport is realistically running.
We plan for the route, not the app estimate.
The approach to EWR and the highways feeding it behave differently at 6am than at 5pm. We schedule against what the corridor actually does at your departure hour.
We drop you at your terminal, not a shuttle stop.
Your chauffeur takes you directly to the departures level for your airline's terminal and helps unload your luggage.
Early mornings are normal for us.
A significant share of departures out of EWR leave before 8am, which means pickups in the small hours. We are staffed for it and there is no premium for booking one.
Choosing a Vehicle for Your Airport Transfer
Capacity figures below are passengers and standard checked bags together. If you are close to the limit, tell us and we will size up rather than guess.

Executive Sedan
Up to 3 passengers / 2 checked bags
Cadillac CT6, Lincoln Continental, Cadillac XTS or Volvo S90. The default for solo business travelers and couples with normal luggage.

Full-Size SUV
Up to 6 passengers / 5 checked bags
Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon Denali or Cadillac Escalade. Choose this when bags rather than people are the constraint, or for winter travel.

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter
Up to 14 passengers
Families travelling together, corporate groups, sports teams and crews. Keeps a group in one vehicle instead of splitting across three cars.
How Our Pricing Works
We quote a flat rate for your specific pickup, destination and vehicle class before the reservation is confirmed. That number does not change because your flight was delayed, because traffic was heavier than expected, or because you happened to book during a busy travel week. There is no meter running and no surge multiplier applied at the end.
Tolls and parking are not included in the quoted rate and are added to the final invoice at cost. On routes into New York that means the Port Authority crossing toll and, for destinations in Manhattan below 60th Street, the city's per-trip congestion charge — both set by the operating agencies rather than by us, with no markup added.
Trips into Manhattan below 60th Street are subject to New York City's congestion relief charge, which for-hire vehicles pass through to the passenger on a per-trip basis. Tolls at the Hudson River crossings also apply on New York routes and are set by the Port Authority, not by us.
Additional services are priced up front rather than appearing afterwards: meet-and-greet is $30 plus parking, child seats are $30 per seat, and extra stops and extended wait time are quoted when you request them.

Sprinter vans keep a group together and cut the coordination problem of tracking several vehicles across a busy airport.
